BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM – I, the undersigned, in my capacity as the participating player / parent / legal guardian of the participating minor player, acknowledge that participation in squash training, high-performance camps, tournaments, and associated local or international travel involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, physical injury, property loss, or damage arising from the rigorous nature of competitive sports.
2. Indemnification I hereby completely and unconditionally indemnify, release, and hold harmless the organizing institutions and facilities—including but not limited to the University of Pretoria (TuksSport), St Mary’s DSG, Menlo Muurbal Akademie, World of Squash, and Squash South Africa—along with their respective:
• Professional coaches and head of programs
• Support staff (including sport scientists, physiotherapists, and nutritionists)
• Student assistant coaches and camp facilitators
• Consultants, representatives, and transport operators (collectively referred to as the “Indemnified Parties”)
against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and disbursements of whatever nature (including legal costs on an attorney-and-own-client scale). This includes claims arising directly or indirectly from the player’s participation in any program activities, use of court facilities, or associated travel, whether caused by the negligence of the Indemnified Parties or otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
