SquashSA National u13 Academy
For 25 years, September in Pretoria has been defined by a specific kind of energy: the arrival of South Africa’s top u13 squash talent. These players don’t just show up with their gear; they arrive with the enthusiasm and drive that marks the beginning of a high-performance journey.
Selection for this camp is a prestigious milestone. Each player receives a special invitation from their Province, but the criteria extend far beyond the scoreboard. We select athletes based on the 5 P’s:
Perseverance / Participation / Perspiration / Preparation / Performance
The World of Squash coaching team at TuksSquash has spent decades perfecting a program that balances elite preparation with a genuine love for the game. Our mission is to bridge the gap between primary school play and the high-intensity demands of high school and competitive senior squash.
The four-day program is meticulously planned:

Sessions are grouped by player strength, with dedicated coaches for every cohort.

While we operate on a “24-hour squash” mindset, activities are varied and tapered to manage energy levels.

Hard work is the standard, but the fun activities woven into the program ensure that players leave with lifelong friendships as well as sharper skills.
The World of Squash coaching team utilizes a comprehensive array of specialized equipment—from foot-workers and ball machines to parachutes and speed ladders.
Central to our success is the SPASS BASIX SKILLZ program. Refined through regular professional exchanges with Australia, this system has a proven track record of excellence, having contributed to the development of numerous Protea players.
Youngsters are under 24-hour supervision by our senior coaching staff and supported by student assistants from the University of Pretoria. Every hour of the weekend is designed to nurture well-rounded “Skillz” players who are ready to dominate the junior circuit.
